The following programs and utilities are available for download off our http server:

Windows users: If you are a 'Limited' or 'Standard' user - as you should be - select a folder that you have write access to rather than the default (Program files) folder.

Accessories for Shopkeeper users

BU.EXE  (NEW VERSION - 2004) Floppy disk backups with compression, for Shopkeeper users.  Works with DOS or Windows 3.11/95/98/Me/2000/XP. (Free)

EDTVATNO.EXE  Stand-alone program to allow users to add or edit customer VAT numbers and nothing else. (Free)

JDPSETUP.EXE (Ver. 1.1a) (NEW version as at 07/04/06 now offers Manual mode) The Jewellery Shopkeeper Data Displayer (JskDplay) accessory program. (Requires 'Plus' licence, either DOS/Windows or Linux/Unix) (See instructions)

Opera 5 (9.8MB) The web browser best for printing Shopkeeper valuations and catalogues.  Later versions of Opera, and all other web browsers, don't paginate as well.

P460 version 1.2  650KB  SSH tunneling stock-take capture file downloader/converter and uploader to remote server.  Allows remote use of memory scanner for Linux, even if the connection is slow.  Runs on Windows 95/98/me/2000/XP.

PutPic version 1.26 - Prepare and upload images to Linux server or Windows-with-SSH server. Ask about option to run automatically from JSK with F10.

PuTTY4JSK-setup 0.60 490KB Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista terminal setup for Linux version of JSK (including Demo JSK login)

sshps version 1.2.1c  3.0MB  SSH tunneling print spool controller - enables printing to be done to a laser or inkjet Windows-only printer on a remote workstation even if the connection is slow. Runs on Windows 95/98/me/2000/XP.

WinL32.exe   Versatile Windows printer utility for The Shopkeeper running on a Linux server on the local area network with Samba.

WinP32.exe    Windows printer utility for The Shopkeeper (this used to be included in The Shopkeeper install, but must now be installed separately only if required.)

WinSCP 3.82  Windows Secure Copy program to transfer files to and from Linux servers.

XTRACT.EXE    DOS utility to create separate files of data for a specific location.  (see related programs XPEL.EXE and XMERGE.EXE, and SCO Unix version; extract.Z) (Free)

extract.Z    SCO Unix utility to create separate files of data for a specific location.  (see related programs xpel.Z and XMERGE.EXE, and DOS version; XTRACT.EXE)

IUPDATE.EXE    DOS utility to update inventory prices in The Jewellery Shopkeeper. (see related program priceput.Z)

priceput.Z    SCO Unix utility to create a price lookup file. (see related program IUPDATE.EXE)

XMERGE.EXE    DOS utility to import data that had been generated with the DOS or Unix extract utility. (see related programs XTRACT.EXE, extract.Z, XPEL.EXE and xpel.Z) (Free)

XPEL.EXE    DOS utility to purge data for a specific location.   (see related programs XTRACT.EXE and XMERGE.EXE) (Free)

Tags3  (Updated 26/11/01) (Not suitable for Windows Vista) A jewellery tag printing program for both dot-matrix printers and thermal transfer bar code printers.  Manual data entry or data file input.  This trial version requires an install password - please complete the form and we will email the password to you. BlindMan  Poker Tournament blinds manager.  Updated Oct.2007 - now suitable for Windows Vista as well.  Enjoy the game!

General utilities

2000.EXE    A simple, non invasive, program to correct the year in computers that are not Y2k compliant.  The program does not stay resident in memory and will not use any of your system resources. (Free)

Setup200-2007.EXE    Windows driver for the Austik Sapphire-200 and the Z-Tags Z-TTP-200 bar code printers. 2007 version. Includes Windows Vista.  (Note: This is not required when using the printer with The Jewellery Shopkeeper.) (Free)
