Company Background

Founded in November 1966 by Norman Perelson, originally as an electronics design and manufacturing company, Semiconductor Control Systems (Pty) Ltd progressed, in 1976, into computer controlled electronic systems.  Norman's interest and flair for computer programming soon steered the company towards specialising in microcomputers.  From 1980 the company traded under the name Computer Park.  In 1986 Computer Park tackled the challenge of jewellers to develop a program that would address their requirements.   Computer Park soon became focused on The Jewellery Shopkeeper and a range of supporting products for jewellers.  When converting the company from (Pty) Ltd to a Close Corporation (CC) in 1997, the name was changed to Shopkeeper Solutions CC. (Reg.No. CK1997/061885/23)

Based in Port Elizabeth, Shopkeeper Solutions cc is not more than 1 hour 45 minutes (by 'plane) or 1045km (by road) from all major South African cities.

Shopkeeper Solutions cc is a member of the Jewellery And Watch Distributors Association which is part of the Jewellery Council of South Africa.

Shopkeeper Solutions have, since 1986, provided jewellers with unparalleled support for their business.  We intend to keep adding value so as to survive and prosper together with our customers.  We have expanded our offices so as to be able to provide an even better service.
